Trail Maintenance Opportunities

 

 

To earn the Trail Maintenance Award you must complete 16 hours of trail maintenance with an organization such as the IHC, Hoosiers Hiker Counsel, National Forest Service, National Park Service, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, American Hiking Society, The Nature Conservancy, or any of the many other trail organizations doing volunteer trail work. This must be completed during the Club’s hiking year, which ends on September 30th. Listed below are some organizations performing trail maintenance with contact information:

When you have completed your volunteer assignment print the trail maintenance form located on this website. Fill it out and then submit it per the instructions.
